Hearing Evaluations
Our audiologists at Northwest Speech and Hearing Center conduct comprehensive hearing tests for patients of all ages.
What to Expect
Throughout the evaluation process, our audiologists will administer a range of tests to assess the extent and nature of your hearing loss. Following the evaluation, they will interpret the results, offer recommendations, and provide you with the chance to seek clarification by addressing any questions you may have.
Tinnitus Evaluation and Management
We understand that tinnitus can be overwhelming and scary when it first appears. At Northwest Speech and Hearing Center, we collaborate with patients to identify potential causes of tinnitus and assess its impact on their daily life. This allows us to provide personalized recommendations for managing tinnitus.
What to Expect
During the tinnitus evaluation, the audiologist will conduct various tests to evaluate the severity of the condition. Although tinnitus cannot be cured, it can be effectively managed. Whether through simple strategies, sound therapy devices, or hearing aids, we will work together to develop a customized plan that enhances your quality of life.

Dizziness and Balance Evaluations
Problems with dizziness and balance can be distressing and even cause you to limit or avoid some activities. Our audiologists work closely with physicians from primary care, ENT and neurology to properly diagnose the underlying causes of your problem so that you can receive appropriate treatment.
What To Expect
Our team includes audiologists who specialize in evaluating the vestibular (balance) system. “Dizziness” is a broad term that encompasses many different types of problems that may be triggered by different areas of the body, not just the ear. We approach each patient as a unique individual rather than using a cookie-cutter approach to evaluating your concerns.
During your appointment, several different tests may be utilized to determine whether the symptoms you are experiencing are caused by your inner ear or elsewhere in your body.
Pediatric Evaluations
Our team of audiologists offers comprehensive hearing tests for newborn babies, including those who had a homebirth or didn't pass their initial screening at the hospital. We are experienced in assessing the hearing abilities of children of all ages, ensuring that every child receives the necessary evaluation to monitor their hearing health.
What To Expect
The evaluation lasts about 45 minutes in a sound-treated room, with parents accompanying their child during the tests.
Hearing Aid Services
Consultation, Fitting & Programming
Our goal is to assist our patients in improving their ability to understand conversations and regain access to the sounds they may have been missing.
What to Expect
During the hearing aid consultation, our team of audiologists will assess the patient's specific needs and degree of hearing loss to determine the most suitable hearing aid style and technology. Once the appropriate amplification is identified, the hearing aids will be professionally fitted for optimal performance and comfort. Our audiologists will program the devices based on best practices, conduct real ear verification testing, and ensure that patients are knowledgeable about using their hearing aids effectively.
Follow-up appointments and adjustments may be necessary to ensure the hearing aids are properly functioning and set to the individual's needs. Whether you obtained your hearing aids from Northwest Speech and Hearing Center or another provider, we can assess their functionality and make any necessary adjustments.
