“I wanted to say thank you for all the many ways you have gone out of your way to help us and to seek other physicians you know about Kaitlyn. I know that it can be a lot of extra work, but when you tell me things about how you spoke to other physicians, it truly makes me feel so good. There are so many times when we have no idea if we are making the right moves or seeing the right doctors, but seeing you and your staff has truly been one of the best decisions we have made and makes the long drive so worth it. We truly could not have done all this without your help and all your support of her. Thank you for being so amazing when we have had issues and for not making it a complete headache when needed help or had issues. She truly loves you and thinks the world of you! Just wanted you to know that we are so appreciative of all that you have done for us and continue to do to help us as we navigate this crazy journey. ”

“At 68.5 years old I realized I had to treat my hearing loss. After very professional testing and a trip to an ENT, I was made aware that my hearing loss ranged from mild to profound. Thereafter, I was fitted with custom ear molds and ReSound hearing aids. Over the last few weeks adjustments have been made and that process will continue. I have found Dr. Vetter to be a friendly and caring professional woman. Today I became emotional when I thanked her telling her that she has indeed changed my life. I will be forever thankful.”

Update: I had my third annual visit to see Dr. Marie Vetter-Toalson. After my annual testing Dr. Vetter-Toalson determined that my hearing aids were not working properly. She sent them to the manufacturer. I was given loaner aids while my aids were being serviced. I received my aids back today including updating of their programming. They work great! There are not enough words to say how pleased I am with Dr. Vetter-Toalson. Year after year my relationship with Dr. Vetter-Toalson gets better and better. I know that whenever I need help I can rely on friendly, professional service.
“I have been a client for 3 years and I have found the staff to be professional, conscientious and always looking out for what is the best for me. They are always ready to address concerns and my hearing is the best ever. I have developed a high regard for Widex hearing aides because they are super comfortable and very sophisticated devices. I highly recommend this practice for all your hearing needs!”

“I would rate my entire experience at Northwest Speech and Hearing Center as a five star experience. My Audiologist, Jean Benson was extremely patient and helpful. In addition the Director, Mary Cay Chisholm, has always made sure to help me in every way possible. I have worked with a number of the staff and everyone has been kind and gone out of their way to accomodate me. I have never had a bad experience. The front desk staff is always polite and helpful.”

“Dr. Vetter helped my 90-year old father with new hearing aids. He was reluctant to get new ones, thought he only needed one, was worried about the money, etc. Dr. Vetter was able to address all of his concerns and helped us with the benefit he was eligible for to help defray the expense. She’s delivered on every commitment in terms of quality and service. It’s been three years and my father and his hearing aids are still going strong. Personally, I have a sense of satisfaction knowing that Dr. Vetter gave us the best advice as to the type of hearing aid that would work best for him and she has been available for any question or follow-up we’ve had.”

“My mother's audiologist, Ryland Gallagher, was exceptional!! He was very patient, kind and knowledgeable. He explained everything thoroughly and answered all of our questions regarding my mother's hearing and her new hearing aid. The hearing aid that he suggested she wear has been life changing! He made adjustments to the hearing aid as needed and always made sure she was happy with how things sounded. I would HIGHLY recommend Ryland Gallagher to anyone with hearing issues!!”

“Due to bad experiences with the discomfort of hearing aids I feared trying again. I withdrew from being with people and became depressed. Then I met Dr. Vetter. Now I’m so happy with my new hearing aids. They are comfortable and easy to manage. I enjoy hearing birds sing, listening to music and television, and conversing with people. I’ve missed so much for many years. Thanks to new technology, my life has more meaning and pleasure–wish I would have taken this step years ago! …thank you for helping me get my life back!”

“I came to Northwest Speech and Hearing Center in order to test my 3-year old son’s hearing. We needed to come on either Tuesday or Thursday since I believe these are the two days that Jean Benson does the testing with kids. And she was absolutely awesome!!! My son is primarily Polish speaking at this point so I was worried that the testing may not be accurate due to him not understanding English and/or not following commands correctly or even me interfering with the test because of his language barrier. He’s had this test done at a different clinic and that exactly was my impression. Additionally, he is going through some phase of being terrified of doctor’s visits. But to my great surprise when coming to this test site, I quickly realized that Jean is so nice, approachable, knowledgeable and professional. Within minutes, my son thought he came here to play a fun game! and his hearing test was completed. I would highly recommend this place and Jean B. if you have a small child and especially if they are still learning English. The front desk staff was also very nice. It was a great experience!!!”

“This is a review about a person who really cares about her patients. A year ago we moved from Columbus Oh to Chicago and I needed an audiology specialist. Marie Vetter, Au.D. was recommended to me by my audiologist in Columbus. I had just purchased 2 brand new hearing aids in Columbus and I was having a problem with them staying over my ears. (the fear of losing them) Not only was Marie able to change out those hearing aids foranother style, but my hearing improved another 10%.
I highly recommend Marie Vetter, Au.D.”

“The audiologist was really great. She was very patient and kind with us. She first spent time with our kid to get familiar and let her play with the toys. Made the entire process so much easy and painless. Wish all the medical staff were like her.”
