About Us

Northwest Speech and Hearing Center, a staple of the Northwest suburbs, is a successful, growth-oriented comprehensive audiology practice.

Our company has been invested in the local communities which we support for 45 years, and our staff members are devoted to serving these communities. Our office is fast paced and fun, so everyone on our team must have the ability to flexibly and cheerfully multi-task as we take care of our customers!

 

Open Positions

 

Patient Care Coordinator 

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in patient care, collaborating with audiologists and other staff to ensure every patient’s needs are met with empathy and precision. If you’re enthusiastic, empathetic, a quick learner, and a team player, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact while advancing your career. Applicants looking for either full-time or part-time employment are encouraged to apply.

You must be able to follow verbal and written instruction, establish priorities, and maintain a professional attitude while working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing phone calls, answering email, and scheduling appointments
  • Welcoming patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
  • Checking patients in and out for scheduled visits
  • Protecting patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information and abiding by all HIPAA regulations
  • Collecting patient co-pays and/or any other payment due at time of service
  • Work 1-2 Saturdays a month

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical or office environment.
  • Experience in the hearing aid, dental, or vision industry is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, empathy, and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft office preferred.
  • This is a customer-facing position, so the ideal candidate must genuinely enjoy interacting with people!
